Characterised by his passion to control every aspect of creating garments himself , be it cutting or designing, Durazi is satisfied with the way his career has shaped in a decade . Believing that sharing of a job would dilute the quality of his work, he has been a one man show designing for ad campaigns and beauty queens. He has always worked on his terms and conditions and in the way he feels comfortable. 

Durazi took formal education in fashion from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York and came to India in 1989. He dressed up Indian women in tailored jackets designed to give them a slimmer look. 

In 1995 he launched a softer collection of silhouette, further moving into chiffon, organza and embroidery. Today he looks forward to design simple and modern garments with more urbane touch. He plans to add more prêt garments in his collections along with new sizes. He supplies to only three stores in India.
